At the core of our measurement methodology is screen location. We know exactly where every ReachTV screen is in the airport, including exact latitude and longitude, size, and which way it faces. Using that information, we draw a virtual zone in front of each screen that shows where a person would realistically be able to see it. When a mobile device appears inside that virtual zone for at least two seconds while an ad is playing, we count that as a confirmed exposure to the ad. Each exposed mobile device is then matched against the ReachTV Identity Graph, which is built from multiple first and third-party data sources, including TransUnion, and Affinity Solutions. That lets us understand basic characteristics of the audience, such as age and gender, in a privacy-safe way. Additional sources of measurement include The People Platform and iSpot.TV.
