The Africa Channel is a Black-Owned, Black-Targeted, and mission-driven media company that has been serving the Black Community for over 19 years. Our mission is to both entertain and educate American audiences about contemporary Africa, its people, and their important role in shaping Black communities worldwide.

Our programmatic advertising strategy is a audience and video-centric, multi-platform approach leveraging CTV/OTT, Online Video, and FAST. We utilize first-party data, Sabio’s advanced targeting capabilities, and Publica's robust platform for campaign management and optimization. To further enhance performance and reach, we collaborate with multiple partners like Magnite, Innovid, Pinnacle DV, Xumo and Multimerica. We're actively exploring additional platforms like Direct TV, Charter to optimize future campaigns and expand our audience reach.

Measurement:

We have ability to include 3rd party targeting and measurement for CTV buys and work with Nielsen to measure branded content campaigns.

Most recently we successfully partnered with a leading Pharma Brand and Nielsen on a culturally authentic branded campaign to raise awareness around a key health issue having a disproportionate impact on our communities. The campaign resulted in a 73% lift in awareness, a 12pt lift in positive brand sentiment and averaged 78% positive sentiment in content impact metrics.
