The ANA’s Alliance for Inclusive and Multicultural Marketing (AIMM),is hosting its Diverse Owned and Targeted Media GrowthFronts, an inaugural industry media upfront event at DotDash Meredith headquarters in New York City on March 1st.
The landmark industry event brings together top national brands, media companies, buyers and the advertising industry to celebrate, highlight, engage and transact with historically underrepresented Black, Hispanic, Asian, Indigenous, and LGBTQ+ media entities.
“This event promises to change the industry’s expectations, closing the gap between intent and action and ultimately, making the industry stronger by providing more investment and equity,” says Bob Liodice, CEO, ANA. “We are grateful for the support from our incredible members and sponsors whose passion enabled this momentous event to happen.”
“Revry is honored to participate in this incredible initiative by AIMM,” says Damian Pelliccione, co-founder and CEO, Revry. “As a diverse owned and only LGTBQ-first media company, we are passionate about empowering our community through partnerships and collaborations with advertisers.”
The GrowthFronts are expected to increase visibility and access for diverse owned and diverse targeted media entities, providing a stage where they can engage and transact with leading national brands, media buyers and advertisers. AIMM’s goal is to increase investment into diverse owned and targeted media to a minimum of 4% by its 2025 GrowthFront.
The estimated GDP value of the LGBTQ+ consumer in the US is $1.7 trillion and brands must ensure that they are meeting the needs of these consumers with the products and inclusive advertising. With brand loyalty at averaging between 88-91%, brands that partner with our queer community will be rewarded.. And the best way to reach them is through free advertising supported television (FAST) as 85% of LGBTQ people used a streaming service in the last 30 days, compared to 74% for the general population..
Founded in 2015, Revry is the only dedicated entertainment media network for brands to connect with queer audiences with its FAST service and on-demand LGBTQ-first movies, series, news and music through multiple platforms. Combined with the company’s original programming and proprietary data, Revry helps its partners establish meaningful and culturally relevant connections with queer consumers. Revry’s mission is to inspire exploration of queer culture for the social and economic benefit of the LGBTQIA+ community. Revry is led by a diverse LGBTQ+ founding team and is NGLCC certified.
